Property Management FAQ's
A. Not everyone does! Many landlords are great at managing their own properties, the key is do they have the time? By employing professional you can add value, get advice and achieve greater returns, that's why Realty Works should be at the top of your list!
Q. What would it cost to have Realty Works manage my property?
A. This is something that we at Realty Works pride ourselves on. We offer you a one time flat marketing fee of $285.00 up-front and $99.00 per property, per month, backed up with service rarely seen in property management. We make sure that the monthly rent is collected for you and we then make sure you receive your money no later than the 10th of the month. We provide you with monthly statements so that you can see all incoming and outgoing money. Property inspections are also included upon request in our flat fee.
Q. What do I need to do if I want to inspect my property?
A. Call us, as you are required to issue a 48 hour notice prior to an inspection of your property and we will contact the tenant.
Q. Who will manage my property?
A. Here at Realty Works we have a highly experience team that will provide the one-on-one service that our landlords require and expect.
Q. What does a tenant have to do if something needs repairing?
A. They contact us using our "Repair Request Form", we will notify the correct repairman who will then contact the tenant to arrange a suitable time to make the repair.
Q. What happens if I decide to sell my property?
A. The tenant has to be issued a letter stating your intentions. After this is done, Realty World will speak with the tenant about suitable access for potential purchasers, and, with their agreement, form a plan for this arrangement. Lease agreements must be honored unless both parties agree to terminate it.
